Are the Cities for you?
On the table: stronger together
Cities rely on teamwork between infantry, shooters and cavalry. Orders unlock extra abilities. Positioning matters: keeping units under orders becomes harder when your force spreads out.
A good fit if you enjoy planning ahead and coordinating several units. This describes regular AoS; Spearhead has its own rules.

Cloth, leather, metal, wood and little charms give the soldiers a worn, individual look. That variety also takes time to paint. My suggestion: one test model, then a small group in the same scheme.
Dry-fit parts before gluing. Large shields can block your brush, so check which areas you want to reach first.
Which colours suit your city?
Three official starting points. Or invent a city of your own.
Hammerhal Aqsha
Red shields, orange cloth. Warm and striking.
Hammerhal Ghyra
Red shields, muted green. Moss and mud suit this look.
Hallowheart
Grey-blue with brass and red emblems. A cooler contrast.
For your own scheme, start with one cloth colour, one shield colour and a metal tone. Repeat them across models to bring the force together.
